Design for Web: Final crit

For the final web crit I presented my home page as it was completed, opened up in chrome because It looked best on that, plus some design boards. The feed back I got was overall Very good and it reassured me on the points i redesigned it on from the previous crit such as it looking NON-gambling.

The questions I asked where:

1: What are the first things you think from seeing the homepage?
2: Do you think the overall Feel of the website works with the concept?
3: Does it work for it's audience? (Parents with kids, mid 30's, people interested in non gambling side to cards)
4: Additional notes

1#: It's very interactive, requires participation from the audience. This is appropriate for the audience. The aesthetic may not be so applicable for an older target audience.

2#: works aesthetically with games due to the colour choices, needs more content to judge better, aesthetic meets the audience.

3# Easy to use and well layed out, Easy to interact with, Look is familiar to that of classic cards. Not much content so unsure how it works for the audience.

The design works well and the type and colours are effective.

4#: Looks playful and fun, pattern ties it into games. Other pages should be clean and functional. Feels like the aesthetic is targeted at families.

5#: If the site is 4 pages where do the 1st and 2nd player link too. Needs more content to crit better. Aesthetic is appropriate.

6#: Very engaging, makes you want to click 1st player to play. Disassociated from gambling really well. Interesting concept, what games will be displayed? Website is appropriate for audience, not childish but child friendly.

From this crit, I'm going to focus now on finishing the last pages and getting them on so theres all the content done, since all my worries about it looking like a gambling website are gone now I think i'll keep the style I stuck with here and carry it on throughout keeping in mine to keep it clean and minimal.
